A 4 bedroom detached house situated
in the lovely village of Rouvenac sat in the midst of lovely rolling country views
with a delightful restaurant the 'Auberge Faby' a couple of hundred metres from
the house serving evening and lunchtime menus, a childrens play area over the
little bridge leading from the restaurant in the square.There are many things
to see within the area, Cathar castles, mountains, waterfalls, gorges, vineyards
and markets too numerous to mention.
Rouvenac is approximately 15 mins. from Limoux with its classy cafes and shops
and is also about 10 mins from the historic village of Puivert, its Cathar castle
and safe swimming lake with lakeside bar and cafe.
Andorra ,with its tax
free goods and winter skiing and the beaches around Perpignan are only just over
a hour away by road.
Carcassonne with its wonderful turreted city is also
one hour away in the opposite direction.
Markets-
Market days in nearby Quillan are Wednesday and Saturday with craft markets on
other days in the summer. Others worth visiting are Mirepoix on Monday morning
and Esperaza on Sunday morning.
Soak
up the sun in the garden, planted with flowers and fruit trees or cool off in
the plunge pool with a glass of local wine.
The house sleeps up to 10 people in four bedrooms,with a bed settee in the lounge.It
has a fully fitted kitchen and dining room also on the first floor.
The ground
floor has a large games room opening out onto a sun terrace and long garden with
plunge pool.
There is full central heating,
BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher etc. All bed linen,towels, cleaning and welcome
pack are included in the price.

Low season £400.- Mid season. £600 - High season £800
A deposit of ¼ of the total rental is
required when booking. The balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the holiday.
