15 mins. from Limoux with its classy cafes and shops and is also about 10 mins
from the historic village of Puivert, its Cathar castle and safe swimming lake
with lakeside bar and cafe.
Andorra ,with its tax free goods and winter skiing
and the beaches around Perpignan are only just over a hour away by road.
Carcassonne
with its wonderful turreted city is also one hour away in the opposite direction.
Markets-
Market days in nearby Quillan are Wednesday and Saturday with craft markets on
other days in the summer. Others worth visiting are Mirepoix on Monday morning
and Esperaza on Sunday morning.
Soak
up the sun in the garden, planted with flowers and fruit trees or cool off in
the plunge pool with a glass of local wine.
The house sleeps up to 10 people in four bedrooms,with a bed settee in the lounge.It
has a fully fitted kitchen and dining room also on the first floor.
The ground
floor has a large games room opening out onto a sun terrace and long garden with
plunge pool.
